My Experience

With over 16 years in corporate financial planning, I founded Everwell Financial to provide a different approach to helping clients improve their financial lives. With a passion for helping people design their future and a longtime advocate of comprehensive planning, I will connect with you personally to ensure you have the right plan in place to achieve your goals. When I was a teenager, my father suffered back-to-back strokes that left him bedridden and unable to communicate for over seven years. The shock waves were felt in every corner of my family’s life. I am dedicated to helping our clients avoid the financial heartache that results from such unforeseen tragedies.

I am proud to say that I am a native of the Metro DC area. My educational background took me from Maryland, then Virginia. I earned my B.A. from The Catholic University of America. I also hold a M.A. in Journalism from New York University. In addition to my RICP (Retirement Income Certified Professional) designation from the American College, I also hold FINRA Series 6, 7, 63 & 66 securities registrations.

In addition to my financial credentials, I am also a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® certificant. As a CDFA® professional, I am skilled at analyzing pensions, retirement plans, and the short-term and long-term effects of dividing property. I can recognize the tax consequences of different settlement proposals and provide clients with valuable data analysis that shows the financial impact of any given settlement. I am able to assist clients and their attorneys in understanding how their decisions today will impact their financial future.

My Interests
  • I am a parishioner of St. John XXIII Catholic Church.
  • My son Jackson keeps me busy with soccer, school activities, and frequent trips to Disney World.
  • I love running! I have completed several half and full marathons. Next up, a triathlon.

My Experience

I am a transplant from New England to Fort Myers as May of 2019. I worked in the financial services industry in Boston, MA for a nationally charted bank for 33 years. My role there was as a Senior Trust Officer which found me doing project and relationship management for the bank’s high net worth families. I administered complex trust accounts and relationships while collaborating with colleagues and clients’ other professional advisers to address the financial, legal, tax, and philanthropic needs of multi-generational families.

My Interests
  • My catholic faith.  I am a parishioner at St. John XXIII in Fort Myers where I provide service to the community as Lector, Music ministry and Facilitating bible studies.
  • I am a certified 200-hour Hatha yoga teacher. I am in school presently to learn Yoga therapy.
  • Singing, dancing and listening to any and all music.
  • Bird watching/listening.
  • Nature – particularly sunset walks on Bowman’s beach.
  • Volunteering time and talent to non-profit organizations.

My Experience

I am originally from New York and lived out on the Island in the Commack area for over 20 years.  My husband and I moved to Florida in 1990 and never looked back.

I have been in banking and the financial field for 30 years, starting from a Teller and promoted to Assistant Vice Pres. Branch Manager and also working for a brokerage firm as a Branch Office Administrator. I also worked in the mortgage field for 8 years from closing loans to warehousing for a lender.

I hold many awards and certificates for my excellent customer service, team work, and exceeding my individual goals.

My Interests
  • Volunteering my time for non-profit organizations.
  • I am a devoted Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother.
  • A passion for animals with dogs being number one and volunteer my services when needed.
  • Enjoy interior decorating.

How We Work

Discovery

We will organize an introductory meeting to get to know each other in a comfortable setting.  Together, we will define your personal and financial goals over a short and long-term period and discuss your feelings regarding investment risk, tax sensitivities, and income needs.

Analysis

We gain a better understanding of your current financial landscape by reviewing your key financial information. Depending on your goals and alternate life scenarios, we’ll analyze your assets and establish a multi-layered view to inform the best strategy for you.

Planning & Strategy

Together we review the financial strategy and recommendations based on our past conversations. We’ll explain the rationale so you can make informed decisions. We’ll make any adjustments and implement the plan upon approval.

Long-Term Guidance

We stay connected as you work toward your goals. As your advisor, I will monitor your progress and check in regularly to review and adjust your plan based on any events or changes that have occurred in your life.
