Add A Trusted Contact
Periodically industry standards change and in this instance FINRA, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, is moving towards making a Trusted Contact a requirement for all accounts.
A Trusted Contact is a person you authorize our office to contact in limited circumstances. They would not have authority to make:
- Changes or trades in your account
- Decisions about your account, and
- Does not make them power of attorney, legal guardian, trustee or executor
The Trusted Contact would be contacted if our office was unable to reach you, and we were not informed, because:
- You are traveling
- We have a concern about fraud
- There has been a natural disaster
- You are having a health issue
